Albert Leroy Rule
Albert Leroy Rule (born 27 July 1886 Hastings, Michigan; died 10 August 1943 Chicago) was a producer and director of two World War I documentaries. Rule had served as a private in the American Expeditionary Forces of World War I and received a discharge in 1920. Rule adopted a nickname title of "Colonel" while in the movie business. William Rule (May 10, 1839 – July 26, 1928) was an American newspaper editor and politician, best known as the founder of ''The Knoxville Journal'', which was published in Knoxville, Tennessee, from 1870 until 1991. A protégé of vitriolic newspaper editor William G. "Parson" Brownlow, Rule established the ''Journal'' (initially called the ''Chronicle'') as a successor to Brownlow's '' Knoxville Whig''. Wendy Elizabeth Rule (born 31 October 1966) is an Australian musical artist. She was born in Sydney and later moved to Melbourne. She performs regularly and has toured the United States and Europe. She has been based in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Early life As a child, Rule was a keen singer from a young age and was described as having "a magical voice" which she would use to "burst into song beneath the blackberries in the backyard". Her tomboy tendencies were ended abruptly once she hit puberty and she was turned upon by her sister and mother, making her feel "repressed, unwanted and weird." At the age of 15 while in high school, she started to sing with rock bands, although it did not feel natural to her and she had moved onto jazz by the time she was in college. Stan Rule
Stanley William Rule (17 January 1924 – 12 August 2007) was an Australian rules footballer who played with Melbourne in the Victorian Football League (VFL). Rule enlisted in the Australian Army as soon as he turned eighteen and served until May 1946. He served overseas in both New Guinea and New Britain during his war years. Rule, a Victorian interstate representative in 1949, was used as both a follower and defender at Melbourne. Dr Margaret Helen Rule, (27 September 1928 – 9 April 2015) was a British archaeologist. She is most notable for her involvement with the project that excavated and raised the Tudor warship ''Mary Rose'' in 1982. Early life Rule, née Martin, was born in Buckinghamshire on 27 September 1928. She studied chemistry at the University of London. Rule changed to a career in archaeology where she initially helped evacuate bomb sites in London after the Second World War. Kevin James Rule was born at Daylesford, Victoria on 9 November 1941. He was a secondary school teacher and had a particular interest in the taxonomy of Australian eucalyptus. He discovered several new species in Victoria. He is an honorary associate of the Royal Botanic Gardens Victoria. His main field is in taxonomy, particularly eucalypts and as a botanical collector. Amiria Juanita Mahanna Denelle Rule ( Marsh; born 17 May 1983) is a retired female rugby union player. She represented and Canterbury. She was a member of the Black Ferns squad that won the 2002 and 2006 Rugby World Cup's and currently plays for Springston RFC.
