Thomas Rukavina (August 23, 1950 – January 7, 2019) was an Americans, American politician and a Minnesota Democratic–Farmer–Labor Party, Democratic–Farmer–Labor (DFL) member of the Minnesota House of Representatives from 1987 to 2013. Mathias Rukavina von Boynograd (1737 - 3 May 1817) was a Croatian general in the Habsburg monarchy imperial army service. He joined the army in 1755 and fought against the Kingdom of Prussia, Ottoman Turkey, and the First French Republic. For most of his career he served with the light infantry from the military border with Turkey. He earned the rank of general officer during the French Revolutionary Wars, distinguishing himself at Battle of Loano, Loano. During the 1796 Italian campaign, he commanded a brigade in several battles against the French army led by Napoleon Bonaparte. Antonio Rukavina (, ; born 26 January 1984) is a Serbian former professional footballer who played as a right-back. Club career Rukavina started out at his local club Bežanija, making his senior debuts in the 2002–03 season, as they won promotion to the Second League of Serbia and Montenegro. Ivan Rukavina (January 26, 1912 – April 3, 1992) was army general of the Yugoslav People's Army, People's Hero of Yugoslavia and politician. Rukavina was a member of the International Brigades and prominent Croatian and Yugoslav communist. He was a Partisan in World War II in Yugoslavia with a rank of general. After the war he was Deputy of the Minister of Defence of Yugoslavia and held various military high positions. He also supported Croatian Spring in the early 1970s and after the collapse of Yugoslavia he participated in founding of Croatian People's Party in 1990.
