Rui Pedro Couto Ramalho (born 2 July 1988), known as Rui Pedro, is a Portuguese professional footballer who plays as a forward. Club career Born in Vila Nova de Gaia, Porto District, Rui Pedro joined FC Porto's youth system in 1998, at the age of 10. He was promoted to the main squad for 2007–08, but his input would consist of 45 minutes in a 0–0 away draw against C.D. Fátima in the Portuguese League Cup. He finished the season on loan, appearing rarely for fellow Primeira Liga side C.F. Estrela da Amadora. Rui Pedro spent the following three years out on loan, appearing for three Segunda Liga clubs and playing and scoring regularly for the last two, Gil Vicente F.C. and Leixões SC. CSKA Sofia ( bg, ЦСКА София) is a Bulgarian professional association football club based in Sofia and currently competing in the country's premier football competition, the First League. The Liga I (; ''First League''), also spelled as Liga 1, is a Romanian professional league for men's association football clubs. Currently sponsored by betting company Superbet, it is officially known as the SuperLiga. It is the country's top football competition, being contested by 16 clubs which take part in a promotion and relegation system with the Liga II. The teams play 30 matches each in the regular season, before entering the championship play-offs or the relegation play-outs according to their position in the regular table. The Primeira Liga (; English: Premier League, also written as Liga Portugal 1), also known as Liga Portugal Bwin for sponsorship reasons, is the top level of the Portuguese football league system. The Taça da Liga (), known outside Portugal as Portuguese League Cup, is an annual football club competition organised by the Liga Portuguesa de Futebol Profissional (LPFP) for teams competing in the Primeira Liga and LigaPro, the top two tiers of Portuguese football. The 2007–08 Taça da Liga was the first edition of the Taça da Liga, also known as Carlsberg Cup for sponsorship reasons. For the first round (4 and 5 August), only teams competing in the Liga de Honra participated. In the second round (12 August), Primeira Liga teams entered. The 2007–08 Primeira Liga was the 74th edition of the Primeira Liga, the top professional league for Portuguese association football clubs.
