In 1910, a combined America Universities rugby team comprising mostly players from California, Stanford, and the University of Nevada went on a tour of Australia and New Zealand, as well as Fiji and Rotuma. The underdog American side upset both Rotorua RFC and Auckland RU, which came as a great surprise to the international rugby community. The University of the South Pacific (USP) is a public university, public research university with locations spread throughout a dozen countries in Oceania. The National Rugby League (NRL) is an Australasian rugby league club competition which contains clubs from New South Wales, Queensland, Victoria, the Australian Capital Territory and New Zealand. The NRL formed in 1998 as a joint partnership between the Australian Rugby League (ARL) and media giant News Corporation-controlled Super League, in the aftermath of the 1990s Super League war, in which both ran parallel to each other in 1997. Lee Roy Atalifo, (born 10 March 1988) is a Fiji professional Rugby union footballer who currently plays for Edinburgh Rugby in the United Rugby Championship. The Penrith Panthers are an Australian professional rugby league football club based in the western Sydney suburb of Penrith that competes in the NRL. The team is based west of the centre of Sydney, at the foot of the Blue Mountains. Penrith are the current reigning NRL Premiers, having won the title four times. Rocky Khan (born 6 May 1989 in Auckland, New Zealand) is a New Zealand rugby union player. He plays on the wing, flyhalf and fullback in 15's rugby or at halfback in 7's rugby. Khan studied at Edendale Primary School, Balmoral Intermediate and Mount Albert Grammar School and is currently studying at the Auckland University of Technology in Sports science.
