Rugby Sevens At The 2020 Summer Olympics – Women's Team Squads
This article shows the roster of all participating teams for the women's rugby sevens competition at the 2020 Summer Olympics. Each roster could have up to 12 athletes, however in July 2021, the International Olympic Committee allowed alternates to also compete due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This meant each team could have up to 13 athletes. Group A Great Britain Great Britain's roster of 13 athletes was named on 18 June 2021. 2020 Summer Olympics
The , officially the and also known as , was an international multi-sport event held from 23 July to 8 August 2021 in Tokyo, Japan, with some preliminary events that began on 21 July. Tokyo was selected as the host city during the 125th IOC Session in Buenos Aires, Argentina, on 7 September 2013. The Games were originally scheduled to take place from 24 July to 9 August 2020, but due to the global COVID-19 pandemic, on 24 March 2020, the event was postponed to 2021, the first such instance in the history of the Olympic Games (previous games had been cancelled but not rescheduled). Lisa Thomson (born 7 September 1997) is a Scottish rugby union player, who captained for Scotland Women in 2018–19. She plays for Scotland and was vice-captain for the 2021 Women's Six Nations Championship.
