Sharmaine Ruffa Rama Gutierrez (born June 24, 1974) is a Filipino Model (person), model, beauty queen, host and actress. She was the 1992 Look of the Year - Philippines, Binibining Pilipinas World, Binibining Pilipinas World 1993 and Second Runner-up to Miss World 1993. Career Gutierrez began acting as a teenager in the 1980s, under BMG Films. She became part of German Moreno's ''That's Entertainment (Philippine TV program), That's Entertainment'' variety show in the early 1990s before becoming a beauty queen in 1993. In December 1990, Gutierrez replaced Snooky Serna for the lead role in Regal Entertainment, Regal Film's ''Wunder Wuman Plus One'', paired with comedian Rene Requiestas. Binibining Pilipinas 1993 was the 30th edition of Binibining Pilipinas. It took place at the Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City, Metro Manila, Philippines on March 21, 1993. At the end of the event, Elizabeth Berroya crowned Dindi Gallardo as Binibining Pilipinas Universe 1993, Marilen Espino crowned Ruffa Gutierrez as Binibining Pilipinas World 1993, while Joanne Alivio crowned Sheela Mae Santarin as Binibining Pilipinas International 1993. ''That's Entertainment'' is a Philippine television variety show broadcast by GMA Network. Originally hosted by German Moreno and Ike Lozada, it premiered on January 6, 1986. The show concluded on May 3, 1996 with a total of 3,200 episodes. Overview The show was created by German Moreno who initially wanted teenaged celebrity siblings to star in the show and name it as ''Brothers and Sisters''. After watching the American film ''That's Entertainment!'', Moreno decided to change the title of the show.
