Rudolf Demetrovics
__NOTOC__ Rudolf Demetrovics (19 September 1914 – 2 March 1993), also known as ''Rudolf Demetrovici'', ''Rudolf Deményi'' or ''Rezső Deményi'', was a Romanian footballer of Hungarians in Romania, Hungarian descent, who played as a midfielder. Debuted in football by the legendary club Chinezul Timișoara, Demetrovics was an important player of the golden team of AS Venus București, Venus București, club with which he won two national titles. Subsequently, he moved to Club Atletic Oradea, Nagyváradi AC and won another title, this time in Hungary, being again an important pillar in a team of legend, 1943–1944 generation of NAC, first squad outside Budapest which was crowned as champion of Hungary. After World War II he ended up in Germany, where he played for MTV Ingolstadt in the highest Bavarian amateur League, the Bayernliga, which was then part of the national second tier of German football. Paks
Paks is a small town in Tolna county, in the south of Hungary, on the right bank of the Danube River, 100 km south of Budapest. Paks as a former agricultural settlement is now the home of the only Hungarian nuclear power plant, which provides about 40% of the country's electricity consumption. History The settlement was already inhabited in ancient times. It has played a role in the Ottoman Empire times and during Rákóczi's War of Independence. In the Budapest offensive in the final stages of the Second World War, Soviet troops occupied the town at great cost, followed by four decades of communist rule. Meanwhile, it was famous for its cannery, wine and fish soup. The country's only nuclear power plant was built in Paks in the 1980s, the final decade of Soviet rule within the country.
