Rudina Hajdari
Rudina Hajdari is an Albanian politician, formerly serving as a member of the Assembly of the Republic of Albania. Daughter of the late Azem Hajdari, who led the 1990–1991 student movement which brought about the collapse of communism in Albania, Hajdari was elected to Albania's assembly on 9 September 2017, representing an area of the country's capital city, Tirana. Early life and career After her father's assassination in 1998, Hajdari moved to the United States to pursue her education. She attended Fordham University and graduated in 2009 with a bachelor's degree in political science, followed by a master's degree in geopolitics, Territory and Security at King's College London. Hajdari then pursued her second master's degree in Human Rights at Columbia University. Assembly Of The Republic Of Albania
The Parliament of Albania ( sq, Kuvendi i Shqipërisë) or Kuvendi is the unicameral representative body of the citizens of the Republic of Albania; it is Albania's legislature. The Parliament is composed of no less than 140 members elected to a four-year term on the basis of direct, universal, periodic and equal suffrage by secret ballot. The Parliament is presided over by the Speaker, who is assisted by at least one deputy speaker. The electoral system is based on party-list proportional representation. Lulzim Basha
Lulzim Basha (; born 12 June 1974) is an Albanian politician who served as the chairman of the Democratic Party of Albania, the main opposition party, from 2013 to March 21, 2022 when he stepped down from the leadership of the party. Basha was elected as chairman of the Democratic Party of Albania in September 2013 following the Democratic Party's electoral loss which sent them in the opposition. In 2021, he became the first opposition leader in Albanian history to lose two general elections in a row, although Basha claimed the losses came as a result of significant electoral interference by the ruling Socialist Party. With over 8 years at the helm of the Democratic Party of Albania, Lulzim Basha is the second longest serving chairman of the party after Sali Berisha, who was in charge for a total of 16 years. Johannes Hahn (born 2 December 1957) is an Austrian politician who has served as European Commissioner for Budget and Administration under Ursula von der Leyen since 1 December 2019. He previously served as European Commissioner for European Neighbourhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations from November 2014 to November 2019 and before that as European Commissioner for Regional Policy from 2010 to 2014.
