Ruchi Sanghvi
Ruchi Sanghvi (born 20 January 1982) is an Indian computer engineer and businesswoman. She was the first female Computer engineering, engineer hired by Facebook. In late 2010, she quit Facebook and in 2011, she started her own company Cove, with two other co-founders. The company was sold to Dropbox (service), Dropbox in 2012 and Sanghvi joined Dropbox (service), Dropbox as VP of Operations. She left Dropbox in October 2013. In 2016, Sanghvi established South Park Commons, a residential and professional tech space that functions similarly to a hackerspace. Early life and education Sanghvi was raised in Pune, India. Aditya Agarwal (born 30 May 1982) is a software engineer and venture investor. Agarwal was an early engineer at Facebook where he wrote the Facebook Search Engine. He was also Facebook's first Director of Product Engineering. After leaving Facebook in early 2011, he started Cove, a modern collaboration software company. Agarwal is also on the board of Flipkart. Early life and education Agarwal was born in India. His father was a chemical engineer and his mother was a homemaker. Agarwal moved with his family to many countries: Cameroon, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia and Thailand, and eventually settled in the United States. HackMIT is an annual student-run hackathon held in the fall at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. History HackMIT The first HackMIT had around 150 attendees and took place in February 2013 at the Stata Center as part of MIT's Techfair, a technology fair and corporate expo for MIT students.
