Magma (Amara Juliana Olivians Aquilla, also known as Alison Crestmere) is a fictional character appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. The character was co-created by Chris Claremont, John Buscema, Glynis Wein and Bob McLeod, and first appears in the series ''New Mutants'' and is also associated with various ''X-Men''-related comics. Like other New Mutants characters, Amara was originally depicted as a young mutant aspiring to become a hero.
