Roz Abrams
Roslyn Maria Abrams (born September 7, 1948) is a former American television news journalist. She had a long career as an anchor on ''Eyewitness News'', which is broadcast by WABC-TV, working in Manhattan. More recently she worked for WCBS-TV, also in Manhattan, from 2004 to 2006. Early life and education Abrams holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Western Michigan University, a master's degree from the University of Michigan and an honorary doctorate of human letters from New York Institute of Technology. Career Abrams received a New York Association of Black Journalists Award for the special "The Sounds of Harlem." She has been part of award-winning coverage for some of the biggest stories of our time, including 9/11, the Blackout of 2003, the end of apartheid in South Africa, the Chernobyl nuclear disaster, and AIDS. Marsha Warfield
Marsha Francine Warfield (born March 5, 1954) is an American actress and comedian. She grew up on Chicago's South Side, graduating from Calumet High School. She is best known for her 1986–92 role of Roz Russell on the Top 10 rated NBC sitcom ''Night Court''. Roz was the tough, no-nonsense bailiff in Judge Stone's court. Warfield also starred in the sitcom ''Empty Nest'' as Dr. Maxine Douglas (1993–95). Before ''Night Court'', she was a writer and performer on the short-lived '' Richard Pryor Show''. Warfield appeared in feature films such as ''D.C. Roz Patterson
Roz Patterson (nee McGregor), was a fictional character in the Australian police drama series ‘ Blue Heelers’. She was a starring character in the series from the beginning; but was the first character to leave the series, staying not even a year. She was portrayed by Western Australian actress, Ann Burbrook. In the series, she is married to Wayne Patterson, one of the Mount Thomas Police constables. She arrives with him from the city and stays with him in the police residence. Roz is a very friendly and warm person and one who is very loyal to her friends. ''9to5'' (listed in the opening credits as ''Nine to Five'') is a 1980 American comedy film directed by Colin Higgins, who wrote the screenplay with Patricia Resnick. It stars Jane Fonda, Lily Tomlin, and Dolly Parton as three working women who live out their fantasies of getting even with and overthrowing the company's autocratic, "sexist, egotistical, lying, hypocritical bigot" boss, played by Dabney Coleman.
