Royce Brook
Royce Brook (sometimes referred to as Royces Brook, Royces Branch, or Royce Brook River) is a tributary of the Millstone River in Hillsborough and Manville, New Jersey in the United States. Path Royce Brook does not have a definite starting point, as it consists of several bodies of water flowing into it within its watershed. However, the website for the Royce Brook Watershed states that it starts at the edge of Sourland Mountain at . It tends to run north-east and eventually empties into the Millstone River in Manville at , which is subsequently deposited into the Raritan River. Name The origins of the creek's name is unknown, but there is a street that runs parallel to it in Hillsborough called, "Royce Brook Road." Also, there is a local golf club called, "The Royce Brook Golf Club." One of the earliest settlers of Hillsborough (other than Lenape) was a man named John Royce. Robert Royce
Robert Dunlop Royce (14 March 1914 – 10 July 2008) was an Australian botanist. He was curator of the Western Australian Herbarium from 1960 to 1974. Born in Perth, Western Australia, he began his botanical career with the Western Australian Department of Agriculture in 1937. He transferred to the Western Australian Herbarium in 1944, and was appointed curator in 1960. One of his main research interests was the application of botany to agriculture, and to this end he undertook substantial research into toxic plants. He published numerous papers on a range of subjects, but does not appear to have described any new taxa. He also oversaw the planning and construction of the current herbarium building. He retired in 1974. Rear Admiral Gerard Royce Maxwell De Mel, OBE (1917-199??) was Ceylonese admiral. He was the Captain of the Royal Ceylon Navy from 1955 to 1961, the first Ceylonese to hold the post. He was accused and convicted in the 1962 Ceylonese coup d'état attempt. Royce Clayton
Royce Spencer Clayton (born January 2, 1970) is an American former professional baseball shortstop. He played in Major League Baseball for the San Francisco Giants, St. Louis Cardinals, Texas Rangers, Chicago White Sox, Milwaukee Brewers, Colorado Rockies, Arizona Diamondbacks, Washington Nationals, Cincinnati Reds, Toronto Blue Jays, and Boston Red Sox between 1991 and 2007. As an amateur, Clayton played baseball at St. Bernard High School and for the United States national under-18 baseball team. The Giants selected him in the first round of the 1988 MLB draft and he made his MLB debut in 1991. The Giants traded Clayton to the Cardinals, where he succeeded his childhood idol, Ozzie Smith, as their starting shortstop and made the All-Star Game in 1997. Royce Elmer Berry (born April 19, 1946) is an American former defensive end in the American Football League (AFL) in 1969 and in the National Football League (NFL) from 1970 to 1976. Early life Berry grew up in Odessa, Texas, and played football at Permian High School. He was also on the 1964 basketball team, the first in program history to win the district championship, as well as the baseball team. Berry played college football for the Houston in 1965, 1966 and in 1968. He missed the 1967 season due to injury. David Royce Ayliffe (born 1 January 1956) is an Australian former professional rugby league footballer who played in the 1970s and 1980s. An Australian international and New South Wales State of Origin representative, he played for and captained the Eastern Suburbs club. Ayliffe also played for the South Sydney Rabbitohs club. During the 1976 NSWRFL season, Brass played in the forwards, helping Eastern Suburbs to victory in their unofficial 1976 World Club Challenge match against British champions St. Helens in Sydney.
