Royal Caribbean International (RCI), also formerly known as Royal Caribbean Cruise Line (RCCL), is a cruise line brand founded in 1968 in Norway and organised as a wholly owned subsidiary of Royal Caribbean Group since 1997. Based in Miami, Florida, United States, it is the largest cruise line by revenue and second largest by passengers counts. In 2018, Royal Caribbean International controlled 19.2% of the worldwide cruise market by passengers and 14.0% by revenue. It operates the five largest passenger ships in the world. As of January 2022, the line operates twenty-six ships and has four additional ships on order. The Port of Miami, styled as "PortMiami" but formally the Dante B. Fascell Port of Miami, is a major seaport located in Biscayne Bay at the mouth of the Miami River in Miami, Florida. MV Oriental Dragon
MV ''Sun Viking'', was one of the three original cruise ships ordered by Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines as part of their early fleet. The ship was first put into service in 1972. She was scrapped at Gadani Ship Breaking Yard, Pakistan in February 2022. Along with her sister ships, the ''Song of Norway'' and '' Nordic Prince'', the class comprised the first purpose-built ships intended for Caribbean-based cruise travel. ''Sun Viking'' cruised the Mexican Riviera on a 7-day itinerary out of Los Angeles and the Caribbean out of San Juan, Puerto Rico in the early 1990s. It is used for tourism by Royal Caribbean Group exclusively. Little Stirrup Cay is adjacent to Great Stirrup Cay, Norwegian Cruises' private island since 1977. Description The island is less than a mile (1.57 kilometer) long from east to west and less than 480 yards (.43 kilometer) from north to south. It has a population of 38 (2010 census). MS ''Viking Serenade'' was launched as the cruiseferry MS ''Scandinavia'' in 1981. In 1985 she was renamed MS ''Stardancer'' and in 1990 MS ''Viking Serenade'' before being converted to a cruise ship in 1991. Admiral Cruises was a cruise line that operated cruises on the Eastern and Western coasts of the United States.
