The Royal Ballet of Flanders is a dance company based in Antwerp, Belgium, specializing in classical, neoclassical and contemporary ballet. In its current incarnation, the company was established in 1969. It tours internationally. History The current Royal Ballet of Flanders was established by Belgium's federal Ministry of Dutch Culture in 1969. Karina Jäger-von Stülpnagel is a German ballet dancer, choreographer, and dance teacher. She is a former soloist with the Royal Ballet of Flanders. Nancy Osbaldeston (born 1989) is an English ballet dancer who is currently a principal dancer with the Royal Ballet of Flanders. Osbaldeston was born in Cuckfield, England. She started dancing at age 3, and appeared in Birmingham Royal Ballet's ''The Nutcracker'' at age 6. She trained at Roshe School, Cardwell Theatre School and English National Ballet School. Lorena Feijóo
Lorena Feijóo (born ) is a Cuban former ballet dancer. Her dance career started in 1988 at the Cuban National Ballet, but left Cuba two years later for more opportunities. After stints at Ballet de Monterrey, Royal Ballet of Flanders and Joffrey Ballet, she joined the San Francisco Ballet in 1999 as a principal dancer, and retired in 2017. Drew Jacoby (born September 2, 1984) is an American contemporary ballet dancer. As of 2020, she is a principal dancer of Royal Ballet of Flanders. Early life Jacoby was born in Boise, Idaho in 1984. Bernice Coppieters (born 18 November 1970) is a Belgian retired ballet dancer and ballet master. She danced as an ''étoile'' at Les Ballets de Monte Carlo and is a long time collaborator of Jean-Christophe Maillot.
