Roy Spencer (actor)
Roy Spencer is a British actor and special effects technician who was born in Heanor, Derbyshire, but grew up in Eastwood, Nottinghamshire. Trained at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, he became a member of the Royal Shakespeare Company for two seasons, during which he went with them on a Russian tour."Phoenix Faces", ''Leicester Mercury'', 26 April 1966 (pg.10) Spencer has appeared in several films and TV shows, including two roles in '' Doctor Who'', as Manyak in '' The Ark'' and as Frank Harris in ''Fury from the Deep''. Heanor
Heanor (/ˈhiːnə/) is a town in the Amber Valley district of Derbyshire in the East Midlands of England. It lies north-east of Derby and forms, with the adjacent village of Loscoe, the civil parish and town council-administered area of Heanor and Loscoe, which had a population of 17,251 in the 2011 census. ''The Rainbow'' is a BBC television three-episode serial of 1988 directed by Stuart Burge, adapted from the D. H. Lawrence novel ''The Rainbow'' (1915). Outline Ursula Brangwen is the eldest child of Will Brangwen, a farmer, and his wife Anna. She has a fascination with rainbows and one day she runs away from home looking for the pot of gold at the end of one. As a teenager, Ursula has a crush on Winifred Inger, her gym mistress at the girls' high school, and she also has romantic feelings for Anton Skrebensky, who is at the boys' high school.
