Roy Schwartz Tichon
Roy Schwartz Tichon (born 1992) is an Israeli entrepreneur, mostly known for making an alternative for public transportation on Shabbat (Saturday) in Israel. Schwartz Tichon is the chairman of "Ve Af Al Pi Chen" ( he, ואף על פי כן) cooperative, which operates buses lines that changed the Status quo (Israel). Biography Schwartz Tichon was born and grew in Haifa, studied at the Hebrew Reali School of Haifa. In 2011 he was recruited for the Israeli Defence Forces, IDF and served in the Israeli air force. In 2015 he finished a bachelor's degree in economics at the Open University of Israel Latin honors, summa cum laude. His grandfather is the spokesman of the 14th Knesset, Israeli parliament, Dan Tichon. Public activity In 2015, he launched Noa Tanua, using his army release grant and other savings.
