Roy Myrie
Roy Alexander Myrie Medrano (born 21 August 1982) is a Costa Rican professional football defender who currently plays for Pérez Zeledón. Club career Myrie started his career at Alajuelense where he stayed for 7 years. In 2005, he tested with PSV, but after an injury during the testing, he was sent back to Costa Rica. In June 2008, he signed with Gent and stayed there until the summer of 2012. KAA Gent Myrie quickly became a player in the first team during the 2008-2009 season Myrie. His excellent dribbling was remarkable. After the winter he injured his knee and had a long period of rehabilitation. He missed the preparation and the first eight games of the season 2009/2010. He made his debut back in the home match against KVC Westerlo. He made the full game and he also did the next games. Limón
Limón (), commonly known as Puerto Limón, is a district, the capital city and main hub of Limón province, as well as of the Limón canton in Costa Rica. It is the seventh largest city in Costa Rica, with a population of over 55,000, and is home of the Afro-Costa Rican community. Part of the community traces its roots to Italian, Jamaican and Chinese laborers who worked on a late nineteenth-century railroad project that connected San José to Puerto Limón. Until 1948, the Costa Rican government did not recognize Afro-Caribbean people as citizens and restricted their movement outside Limón province. As a result of this "travel ban", this Afro-Caribbean population became firmly established in the region, which influenced decisions not to move even after it was legally permitted. Nowadays, there is a significant outflow of Limón natives who move to the country's Central Valley in search for better employment and education. David Myrie
David Andrew Myrie Medrano (born June 1, 1988 in Puerto Viejo) is a Costa Rican professional footballer. Club career Myrie started his professional career with Cádiz of the Spanish Segunda División. He later moved back to Costa Rica, play with both Puntarenas, and Alajuelense. Myrie made 12 appearances for Puntarenas during the 2007–08 season and 16 appearances for Alajuelense during the 2008–09 season. Major League Soccer He was signed by the Chicago Fire on September 15, 2009, but did not make any league appearances for the club. Myrie was subsequently selected by Philadelphia Union in the 2009 MLS Expansion Draft on 25 November 2009, before he had made his senior debut for Chicago. The Estadio Cuscatlán is a football stadium located in the city of San Salvador, El Salvador. It was inaugurated in 1976. It can hold 53,400 spectators, making it the stadium with the largest spectator capacity in Central America and the Caribbean. Listed below are the dates and results for the 2006 FIFA World Cup qualification rounds for North, Central America and the Caribbean. A total of 34 teams took part (out of 35 eligible – only Puerto Rico declined to participate), competing for 3.5 places in the World Cup. The qualification process was divided in four stages. In the first stage, the 34 teams were divided in 10 groups of three teams each and two groups of two teams each.
