John A. Rowland High School is a public, four-year high school and International Baccalaureate (IB) World School in the city of Rowland Heights, California, United States. It is one of the two high schools in the Rowland Unified School District. It is located directly across from one of the district's elementary schools, Killian Elementary School. Albert Lee Martin (born November 24, 1967) is a former professional baseball left fielder. He played 12 seasons in Major League Baseball, mostly for the Pittsburgh Pirates. Michael Louis Hohensee (born February 22, 1961) is a former professional football quarterback who played in the United States Football League, Canadian Football League, National Football League and Arena Football League. He most recently the head coach of the AFL's Portland Thunder. He played college football at the University of Minnesota, and was in the AFL for two seasons, from 1987 to 1988. David Andrew Hansen (born November 24, 1968) is a former Major League Baseball (MLB) player, specializing as a pinch hitter. Mark Crear
Mark James Crear (born October 2, 1968) is a double Olympic medalist in the 110 m hurdles from the United States. In 1996 he was second behind Allen Johnson. Four years later he came in third behind Anier Garcia and silver medalist Terrence Trammell. Mark's personal best was 12.98 seconds. Crear went to Rowland High School, in the Rowland Heights area of southern California, where he finished second in the 300 meters hurdles and fourth in the 110 meters hurdles at the 1987 CIF California State Meet. He then went to the University of Southern California, where he won the 1992 National Championship in the 110 meters hurdles. He still holds the USC school record in the hurdles.
