Rotting Out
Rotting Out is an American hardcore punk band from the San Pedro community of Los Angeles in California. History Formation (2007–2011) Rotting Out began in 2007 after disbanding from their original band Dogpile. The following year they released their first EP titled ''This Is Just A Life'', via World Won't Listen. In 2009, the band released their second EP, titled ''Vandalized'', via 6131 Records. Street Prowl (2011–2014) In 2011, Rotting Out released their first full-length album under 6131 Records, and the first release with bassist, Walter Delgado, on vocals, titled ''Street Prowl''. In early 2013, the band supported The Ghost Inside on their headlining tour alongside Stick to Your Guns and Stray from the Path. In April 2013, Rotting Out premiered a new song, titled ''Blade of Rust'' from their then upcoming sophomore full-length album. San Pedro ( ; Spanish: " St. Peter") is a neighborhood within the City of Los Angeles, California. Formerly a separate city, it consolidated with Los Angeles in 1909. Vandalism is the action involving deliberate destruction of or damage to public or private property. The term includes property damage, such as graffiti and defacement directed towards any property without permission of the owner. The term finds its roots in an Enlightenment view that the Germanic Vandals were a uniquely destructive people. Etymology The Vandals, an ancient Germanic people, are associated with senseless destruction as a result of their sack of Rome under King Genseric in 455. During the Enlightenment, Rome was idealized, while the Goths and Vandals were blamed for its destruction. The Vandals may not have been any more destructive than other invaders of ancient times, but they did inspire English poet John Dryden to write, ''Till Goths, and Vandals, a rude Northern race, Did all the matchless Monuments deface'' (1694). ''Desperate Youth, Blood Thirsty Babes'' is the 2004 debut album by the American art rock band, TV on the Radio. The album, recorded at Headgear Studio in Brooklyn, was awarded the Shortlist Music Prize for 2004. It was released on CD, 12" vinyl and MP3 download formats. The CD is enhanced with two different quality QuickTime video files of the "Dreams" music video. The 12" features two records with the extra song "You Could Be Love" and a different track order from the CD. The MP3 version includes two extra songs not available on the CD. " Staring at the Sun" has the intro edited from the original version on '' Young Liars'', and is the same version used on the single and video.
