''Roti'' is a 2017 Nigerian film which was directed and written by Kunle Afolayan. Plot Diane and Kabir who are a married couple lose their 10-year-old son Roti to heart disease. Diane who was the mother was in a lot of grief, she later saw a boy who she believes was her son, she became happy again but she was told that Juwon is not Roti's reincarnation, so she has to let go. Kunle Afolayan
Kunle Afolayan (born 30 September 1975) is a Nigerian actor, producer and director. He is widely credited for elevating the quality of Nollywood movies though larger budgets, shooting on 35mm, releasing in cinemas, and improving cliché Nollywood storylines. After starting his film career as an actor in the 1999 political drama '' Saworoide'', Afoloayan made his directorial debut in 2006 with '' Irapada'', a Nigerian supernatural thriller, which won the Africa Movie Academy Award for Best Film in an African Language. His follow-on directing credits include ''The Figurine'', ''Phone Swap'', ''October 1,'' and ''Citation. Kate Henshaw, also known as Kate Henshaw-Nuttall (born 19 July 1971), is a Nigerian actress. In 2008 she won the Africa Movie Academy Award for Best Actress in a Leading Role for her performance in the movie ''Stronger than Pain''. Faithia Williams Balogun (born 5 February 1969) is a Nigerian actress, filmmaker, producer and director. Early life Faithia Williams who is of Delta state descent, was born in Ikeja on 5 February 1969. She was born into a polygamous family of nine. Faithia attended Maryland Primary School and Maryland Comprehensive Secondary School in Lagos state. She obtained her West African School Certificate in Maryland Comprehensive Secondary School.
