Ross Peltier (born 24 April 1992) is a former Jamaican international rugby league footballer who last played as a for Hunslet in RFL League 1, on loan from the Dewsbury Rams in the RFL Championship. He is a Green Party politician. Background Peltier was born in Bradford, West Yorkshire, England. Playing career Bradford Following a stint at the Keighley, Peltier signed with Bradford on a two-year deal beginning in the 2017 season. 2017 - 2017 Season Peltier featured in the pre-season friendlies against Huddersfield and Keighley. Bradford

The York Knights are the men's professional rugby league team of York RLFC (known as the York City Knights from 2002 to 2022) based in York, England. The Halifax Panthers are a professional rugby league club in Halifax, West Yorkshire, which formed in 1873. Halifax were one of the original twenty-two rugby clubs that formed the Northern Rugby Football Union in 1895. 2017 Challenge Cup
The 2017 Challenge Cup, (also known as the Ladbrokes Challenge Cup for sponsorship reasons) was the 116th staging of the Challenge Cup the main rugby league knockout tournament for teams in the Super League, the British National Leagues and a number of invited amateur clubs. The defending champions were Hull F.C. who beat Warrington Wolves 12–10 in the 2016 final at Wembley Stadium. Hull F.C. retained the trophy beating Wigan Warriors 18–14 at Wembley on 26 August 2017. The format of the competition was eight knock-out rounds followed by a final. The first two rounds were composed entirely of 32 amateur teams. Swinton Lions
The Swinton Lions are a professional rugby league club based in Swinton, Greater Manchester, England, which competes in the Championship. The club has won the Championship six times and three Challenge Cups. Before 1996, the club was known simply as Swinton. History Early years The club was formed in 1866 when members of Swinton Cricket Club decided to take up "football" in the winter to keep fit.
