Ross Paterson (Air Vice-Marshall)
Ross Paterson (born March 13, 1984) is a retired Scottish curler from Glasgow. During his career, he represented Scotland at four World Men's Curling Championships and four European Curling Championships, winning a bronze medal at both the 2018 World Men's Curling Championship and the 2019 European Curling Championships. He also won silver at the 2007 Winter Universiade and bronze at the 2005 World Junior Curling Championships in his junior career. In 2018, he skipped his team to victory at the 2018 National Grand Slam of Curling event. He is a two-time champion at the Scottish Men's Curling Championship, winning the title in both 2016 and 2022. Career Juniors Paterson represented Scotland at the 2005 World Junior Curling Championships, playing third for the Logan Gray rink. Logan Gray
Logan Gray (born 23 June 1986) is a Scottish former curler. He is a two-time World Junior curling bronze medallist. He is the brother of curler Lauren Gray. Gray was educated at Balfron High School, where he became Scottish Schools Curling Champion in 2001, and the University of Stirling, where he graduated with a BA in Accounting and Finance in 2006. Gray has participated at numerous Scottish national championships. He has one World Curling Tour title from the Mercure Perth Masters in 2014. He retired from international competition in June 2014. Curling Masters Champery
Curling is a sport in which players slide stones on a sheet of ice toward a target area which is segmented into four concentric circles. It is related to bowls, boules, and shuffleboard. Two teams, each with four players, take turns sliding heavy, polished granite stones, also called ''rocks'', across the ice ''curling sheet'' toward the ''house'', a circular target marked on the ice. Each team has eight stones, with each player throwing two. The purpose is to accumulate the highest score for a ''game''; points are scored for the stones resting closest to the centre of the house at the conclusion of each ''end'', which is completed when both teams have thrown all of their stones once. Tom Brewster
Thomas Brewster Jr. (born 10 April 1974) is a Scottish curler from Aberdeen, Scotland. He is currently the coach of the Ross Paterson men's team. Career Brewster is a former World Junior champion, having won the title in 1995. The Scottish team which consisted of Paul Westwood, Ronald Brewster, Steve Still and David Murdoch finished 8–1 after the round robin, and defeated Sweden's Henrik Edlund and then Germany's Daniel Herberg to win the championship. Brewster has skipped Scotland to two European Mixed titles, in 2006 and in 2009. Brewster has been a frequent participant in World Curling Tour events, perhaps more so than the more successful Scottish teams. He has won a total of six WCT events, all European events. David Matthew Murdoch (born 17 April 1978) is a retired Scottish curler from Stirling. As the Scotland skip, he and his former team of Ewan MacDonald, Warwick Smith, Euan Byers and Peter Smith are the 2006 and 2009 World Curling Champions. Representing Great Britain, he has been skip at three Winter Olympics, Torino 2006, finishing fourth, Vancouver 2010, finishing fifth and Sochi 2014, where he won an Olympic silver medal. He currently serves as a coach, performance team manager and consultant for British Curling. The 2010 Le Gruyère European Curling Championships were held in Champéry, Switzerland from December 3–11, 2010. The Group C matches took place from September 24–28 at the Greenacres Ice Rink in Howwood, Scotland. The winners of the Group C matches advanced to the Group B playoffs in Monthey.
