Ross Oakley
Ross Graham Oakley (born 30 September 1942) is an Australian businessman and former Australian rules footballer with St Kilda in the Victorian Football League (VFL). He is CEO of the Victorian Rugby Union and was appointed CEO of the new the Melbourne Rebels rugby union franchise in September 2010. Playing career Oakley attended Wesley College, Melbourne and began his senior VFL footballing career with the St Kilda Football Club in 1962. He went on to score 38 goals in 62 games. His career was marred by unfortunate knee injuries; the first came in 1965 in St Kilda's semi-final victory, which meant Oakley missed the Grand Final. He suffered déjà vu in 1966, missing not only the Grand Final, but St Kilda's first VFL premiership. Following a further injury before the start of the 1967 season, Oakley retired at the age of 24. Australian National Football Council
The Australian National Football Council (ANFC) was the national governing body for Australian rules football in Australia from 1906 until 1995. The Melbourne Storm salary cap breach was a major breach of the National Rugby League's strictly enforced salary cap by the Melbourne Storm club over a period of five years. Wayne Jackson (born 16 April 1944) is best known for his tenure as the CEO of the Australian Football League (AFL) from 1996 to 2003. SANFL Jackson played 71 games for West Torrens Football Club in the South Australian National Football League from 1965 to 1971 . From 1975 when he took up the role of Chairman of West Torrens, Jackson embarked on a long and distinguished period of football administration.
