Ross MacLaren
Ross MacLaren, sometimes erroneously spelled McLaren, (born 14 April 1962) is a Scottish football coach and former professional player who played as a defensive midfielder. Playing career MacLaren was born in Edinburgh. His league career in England began with Shrewsbury Town, having joined them from Rangers. He joined the club in 1980 and was there for four seasons playing 161 games and scoring 18 times. It was at Shrewsbury that he first moved from the role of a midfielder to that of a defender. He moved to Derby County in 1985 for a fee of £67,00 and was voted ''Rams'' player of the year in his first season, 1985–86, in which Derby were promoted to Division Two. An ever present player in the team in his first two seasons, MacLaren was a key figure in Derby's second successive promotion; winning the Second Division Championship in his second season at the Baseball Ground. John Charles Gregory (born 11 May 1954) is an English former footballer. He has previously managed: Portsmouth, Plymouth Argyle, Wycombe Wanderers, Aston Villa, Derby County, Queens Park Rangers, Maccabi Ahi Nazareth, F.C. Ashdod, FC Kairat, Crawley Town and Chennaiyin. As a player, he was a versatile midfielder who started his career at Northampton Town and later played for Brighton & Hove Albion, QPR, Derby and Aston Villa. He won six caps for England. Stephen Joseph McMahon (born 20 August 1961) is an English football manager, former professional footballer and current television pundit. As a player, he was a midfielder from 1979 to 1998, most notably playing for Liverpool in the late 1980s. McMahon was placed in 42nd position in the '100 Players Who Shook The Kop' poll, which asked Red supporters to name the best 100 Liverpool players of all time. He also played for Everton, Aston Villa and Manchester City, playing in the Premier League for the latter. He was capped 17 times by England. John Gorman (footballer)
John Gorman (born 16 August 1949) is a Scottish former football player and coach. Playing career Gorman began his career at Celtic, but only played one game, a Scottish League Cup match in 1968. He was released and signed for Carlisle United and was almost ever present in their one season in the old First Division. He signed for Tottenham Hotspur in 1976 before injury as a result of a tackle by Jimmy Case lost him his place. The injury caused him to miss the final part of Spurs' unsuccessful relegation fight in 1977, and all of their promotion season of 1977–78. In 1979, he moved to the United States where he signed with the Tampa Bay Rowdies of the NASL. He remained with Tampa Bay for four seasons and was a 1979 Second Team, 1980 Honorable Mention and 1981 First Team All Star.
