Ross Greenwood (journalist)
Ross Greenwood (born 29 June 1959) is an Australian print and television journalist and radio presenter, reporting on business and finance Journalism Greenwood has been the editor of numerous business publications, including ''Personal Investment'' (1986–1997), ''Business Review Weekly'' (1997–1999) and ''Shares'', an Australian magazine he co-founded. Media career On television, Greenwood has appeared on '' Healthy, Wealthy and Wise'' from 1992 to 1997. In 1999 he moved to London and was founding editor of Shares Magazine, as well as being a regular presenter on BBC Five Live's ''Wake Up to Money'' program) CNN, Sky News and Bloomberg Television. He joined the Nine Network in Australia in 2003, to be the Business & Finance Editor. In 2006, Greenwood and Ellen Fanning replaced Jana Wendt as co-hosts of the ''Sunday'' program. ''BRW'' (formerly ''Business Review Weekly'') was an Australian business magazine published by the Fairfax Media group. The magazine was headquartered in Melbourne. It regularly compiled lists which rank corporations and individuals according to various criteria, similar to ''Fortune'' magazine in the United States. ''BRW'' provided news and commentary on the economy, business and investment in Australia. The magazine reported on successful business strategies, investments and entrepreneurialism. ''60 Minutes'' is an Australian version of the United States television newsmagazine show ''60 Minutes,'' airing since 1979 on Sunday nights on the Nine Network. A New Zealand version uses segments of the show. The program is one of five inducted into Australia’s television Logie Hall of Fame. History The program was founded by veteran television producer Gerard Stone, who was appointed its inaugural executive producer in 1979 by media magnate Kerry Packer. Adam Roy Goodes (born 8 January 1980) is a former professional Australian rules footballer who played for the Sydney Swans in the Australian Football League (AFL). Goodes holds an elite place in VFL/AFL history as a dual Brownlow Medallist, dual premiership player, four-time All-Australian, member of the Indigenous Team of the Century and representative of Australia in the International Rules Series. In addition, he has held the record for the most VFL/AFL games played by an Indigenous player, surpassing Andrew McLeod's record of 340 during the 2014 AFL season before having his own record surpassed by Shaun Burgoyne during the 2019 AFL season. ''Nine News'' (stylised ''9News'') is the national news service of the Nine Network in Australia.
