Rosita Moreno (born Gabriela Victoria Viñolas; March 18, 1907 – April 25, 1993) was a Spanish film actress who worked in cinema in Hollywood, Argentina, Mexico, and in her native Spain. Biography Born in Madrid, Spain, Moreno was the daughter of Spanish character actor Francisco Moreno, who also developed a Hollywood career. As a child she devoted herself to acting in revue and zarzuela genres. Moreno appeared in more than 30 films in a career that spanned more than 20 years, often travelling through several countries in quick succession. Rosita C. Youngblood (born December 20, 1946) is a former Democratic member of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives, representing the 198th District from 1994 until 2020. She was the first black woman to hold a position in Pennsylvania House leadership. She was elected to the House in a special election on April 5, 1994 to fill a vacancy. Rosita Kaaháni Worl is an American anthropologist and Alaska Native cultural, business and political leader. She is president of the Sealaska Heritage Institute, a Juneau-based nonprofit organization that preserves and advances the Tlingit, Haida and Tsimshian Native cultures of Southeast Alaska, and has held that position since 1997. She also served on the board of directors of the Sealaska regional Native corporation for 30 years, beginning in 1987, including as board vice president. The corporation, with more than 22,000 shareholders, founded the heritage institute and provides substantial funding. Worl's Tlingit names are Yeidiklasókw and Kaaháni. Rosita Sokou ( el, Ζωή Μαρία (Ροζίτα) Σώκου, ''Zoi Maria (Rozita) Sokou''; 9 September 1923 – 14 December 2021) was a Greek journalist, author, playwright and translator. Sokou was one of the first women journalists in Greece and started her career as a film critic in 1946. She moved to Rome, Italy after marrying an Italian journalist and author, Manlio Maradei. Rosita Serrano (born María Esther Aldunate del Campo, 10 June 1912 – 6 April 1997) was a Chilean singer who had her biggest success in Nazi Germany between the 1930s and the early 1940s.
