Rosenvinge (noble Family)
Rosenvinge (lit. ‘Rose Wing’) is a Danish and Norwegian noble family. Origin Rosenvinge in Denmark The family's progenitor, Mogens Jensen (d. 1528), who was the secretary of Prince Christian (1481–1559), later overlord in Bergenhus and Mayor of Helsingør, was ennobled on 31 May 1505. He married Anna Pedersdatter, who was the daughter of Peder Hansen, Mayor of Helsingør, who himself had been ennobled in 1476 by King Christian I of Denmark. Mogens Jensen was the father of Henrik Mogensen Rosenvinge (d. 1553). His patrilineal grandson Mogens Henriksen Rosenvinge (1540–1607) was Mayor of Odense. Mogens Henriksen's sons Jørgen Mogensen Rosenvinge (1570–1634), Mayor of Odense, and Jens Mogensen Rosenvinge, City Manager of Odense, became the progenitors of, respectively, the Norwegian branch and the Danish branch of the family. Christina Rosenvinge
Christina Rosenvinge Hepworth (born 29 May 1964) is a Spanish singer. A veteran of the music industry with a career spanning more than thirty years she was a member of the Spanish groups Alex y Christina and Christina y Los Subterráneos, which were very popular bands before she started a much more risky solo career. Rosenvinge has spoken about facing sexism within the industry and is a vocal critic of it. Lee Ranaldo, the guitarist of Sonic Youth produced one of her albums right before she moved to New York City in 1999. She recorded three albums in english edited by Smells Like Records before moving back to Spain where she has become a revered artist. She is considered "one of the voices of reference of Spanish music in this first decade of the 21st century." In 2018, she had been honoured with Premio Nacional de las Musicas Actuales. Janus Lauritz Andreas Kolderup-Rosenvinge
Janus Lauritz Andreas Kolderup-Rosenvinge (10 May 1792 – 4 August 1850) was a Danish jurist and a leading historian of Danish law. He taught at the University of Copenhagen, of which he was the Rector (academia), rector in 1833–34. He is known for his ''Grundrids af den danske Lovhistorie'' (1822–23), the first systematic history of Danish law, and for his collections of sources about the same. Kolderup-Rosenvinge also wrote textbooks on police law, international law and church law. References

Janus Lauritz Andreas Kolderup Rosenvinge, generally cited as Lauritz Kolderup Rosenvinge (7 November 1858 – 1939) was a Danish botanist and phycologist. Kolderup Rosenvinge received his Ph.D. in 1888 from the University of Copenhagen. He was docent of botany at the polytechnic (Polyteknisk Læreanstalt) from 1900; and professor of botany at the University of Copenhagen from 1916, focusing on spore plants . He undertook investigations of algae in Danish waters and in the North Atlantic. 2 types of alga genus ''Rosenvingea'' and ''Rosenvingiella'' , which is a genus of green algae in the family Prasiolaceae, have been named in his honour. Carina Rosenvinge Christiansen (born 17 March 1991) is a Danish recurve archer who competed at the 2012 Summer Olympics. Early and personal life Christiansen was born on 17 March 1991 in Aalborg. She was introduced to archery at the age of eleven in 2002, joining the Aarhus Archer's Guild (''Aarhus Bueskyttelaug''), the club with which she has remained as of 2015. In 2012 she listed tennis player Caroline Wozniacki as her sporting idol.
