Rosdhu Queen
Rosdhu Queen (foaled 10 February 2010) is an Irish-bred, British-trained Thoroughbred racehorse and broodmare. In a racing career which lasted from July 2012 until August 2013 she won four of her eight races. As a two-year-old in 2012 she was one of the best fillies of her generation in Britain, winning all four of her races including the St Hugh's Stakes, Lowther Stakes and Cheveley Park Stakes. She failed to win in 2013 but finished fourth in the Fred Darling Stakes and produced arguably her best effort when finishing fifth in the Diamond Jubilee Stakes. At the end of her racing career she was sold to become a broodmare for the Coolmore Stud. The Sprint Cup is a Group 1 flat horse race in Great Britain open to thoroughbreds aged three years or older. It is run at Haydock Park over a distance of 6 furlongs (1,207 metres), and it is scheduled to take place each year in early September. Flash of Steel (10 March 1983 – after 2004) was an Irish Thoroughbred racehorse and sire. Bred and owned by Bertram Firestone and trained by Dermot Weld he was one of the best two-year-olds in Ireland in 1985 when he won his last three races including the Beresford Stakes. In the following spring he took his winning run to five by taking the Tetrarch Stakes and recording his biggest victory in the Irish 2000 Guineas. He ran unplaced in both The Derby and the Irish Derby and was retired from racing at the end of the year. The Irish 2,000 Guineas is a Group 1 flat horse race in Ireland open to three-year-old thoroughbred colts and fillies. It is run at the Curragh over a distance of 1 mile (1,609 metres), and it is scheduled to take place each year in May. Moonlight Cloud (foaled 5 March 2008) is a British– bred, French- trained Thoroughbred racehorse who has won the Prix Maurice de Gheest three times and the Prix du Moulin de Longchamp.
