Roscoe Robinson (born May 22, 1928, Dermott, Arkansas, United States) is an American gospel and soul singer. Biography Robinson recorded as a gospel solo artist in the 1950s with Trumpet Records, and sang in groups such as the Five Trumpets, Highway QCs, and The Fairfield Four The Fairfield Four is an American gospel group that has existed for over 100 years, starting as a trio in the Fairfield Baptist Church, Nashville, Tennessee, in 1921. They were designated as National Heritage Fellows in 1989 by the National End .... He began recording secular soul in the 1960s, and had two charting hits: "That's Enough" (U.S. No 62, U.S. R&B No. 7) in 1966, and "Do It Right Now" (U.S. R&B No. 40) in 1967. Arkansas

The Five Blind Boys of Mississippi was an American post-war gospel quartet. They started with lead singer Archie Brownlee, their single "Our Father" reached number ten on the Billboard R&B charts in early 1951. Then the screams of their new lead singer Big Henry Johnson captivated audiences all over the world. Jimmy was the heart of the group and the longest standing member. It was one of the first gospel records to do so.
