Rosario Rubbettino (February 13, 1941 – October 7, 2000) was a noted Italian publisher. Biography Rosario Rubbettino was born in Soveria Mannelli, a little town in the province of Catanzaro Catanzaro (, or ; scn, label= Catanzarese, Catanzaru ; , or , ''Katastaríoi Lokrói''; ; la, Catacium), also known as the "City of the two Seas", is an Italian city of 86,183 inhabitants (2020), the capital of the Calabria region and of its p ..., in 1941. In 1973 he founded his own publishing house, '' Rubbettino Editore'', located in Soveria Mannelli. He died in Soveria Mannelli on October 7, 2000, aged 59. Soveria Mannelli ( scn, Suverìa Mannielli) is a town and ''comune'' in the province of Catanzaro, in the Calabria region of southern Italy.
