Rosalva Yazmín Luna Ruiz (born c. 1981 in Los Mochis, Sinaloa) is a Mexican beauty queen who represented her country in Miss Universe 2004, placing as one of the Top 15 semifinalists. Nuestra Belleza Mexico Luna competed in 2003 as the delegate from Sinaloa in her country's national beauty pageant, Nuestra Belleza México, winning the competition and gaining the right to represent Mexico in Miss Universe 2004. Miss Universe 2004 As her country's official representative to the 2004 Miss Universe pageant, held in Quito, Ecuador, Luna placed second to Miss Panama in the Best National Costume competition. Nuestra Belleza México 2003
The 10th Nuestra Belleza México pageant, was held at the Teatro del Arte of Morelia, Michoacán, Mexico on September 5, 2003. Thirty-eight contestants of the Mexican Republic competed for the national title, which was won by Rosalva Luna from Sinaloa, who later competed in Miss Universe 2004 in Ecuador where she was a Semifinalist in the Top 15. Luna was crowned by outgoing Nuestra Belleza México titleholder Marisol González. She was the first Sinaloense to win this Title. The Nuestra Belleza Mundo México title was won by Yessica Ramírez from Baja California, who later competed in Miss World 2004 in China where she was a Semifinalist in the Top 15. Laura Elizondo Erhard (born 28 August 1983 in Tampico) is a Mexican beauty pageant titleholder who represented her country at Miss Universe 2005. Beauty pageants On 10 September 2004, Elizondo participated in the national beauty pageant Nuestra Belleza México, held in San Luis Potosí. Winning the national crown and becoming the second from the state of Tamaulipas to do so since the pageant first began in 1994, Elizondo obtained the title of Nuestra Belleza México, giving her the right to represent Mexico in the Miss Universe pageant.
