	Ros Chantrabot Ros Chantrabot is a Khmer novelist, poet, historian and member of the Royal Academy of Cambodia. Biography Education and early career as a journalist in the turmoil of the Khmer Civil War Ros Chantrabot was born on September 1, 1945 in Phnom Penh, under the French protectorate of Cambodia. Very early, he discovered a passion for writing and he composed poems on a daily basis. Along with other Khmer authors of his period such as Soth Polin, Ros Chantrabot was influenced in his writing style by French writer Jean-Paul Sartre and the philosophy of existentialism. He began his career in journalism as the owner and editor-in-chief of Khmer language newspaper ''Ponleu Angkor'' (1967). From 1968 to 1970, he was the editor of the French state-run newspaper ''Le Courier Phnom-Penhois''. In 1970, he received a License es Lettre with an option in French philosophy from the University of Phnom Penh. 	Lon Non Lon Non ( km, លន់ ណុន; 18 April 1930(?) – 17 April 1975) was a Cambodian politician and soldier who rose to his greatest prominence during the Khmer Republic (1970–1975). Non was the younger brother of Prime Minister (and later President) Lon Nol. As a result, he was often referred to as "Little Brother" (french: Petit frère) in political circles, in which he was regarded as a somewhat Machiavellian figure who was determined to protect his brother's monopoly on power. Non was executed by members of the Khmer Rouge after the Communist seizure of Phnom Penh in April 1975. Early life Non was born in the early 20's, the son of Lon Hin, a Cambodian district administrator from Prey Veng. 	Phnom Penh Post ''The Phnom Penh Post'' ( km, ភ្នំពេញប៉ុស្តិ៍, ) is a daily English-language newspaper published in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. Founded in 1992 by publisher Michael Hayes and Kathleen O'Keefe, it is Cambodia's oldest English-language newspaper. The paper was initially published fortnightly as a full-color tabloid; in 2008 it increased frequency to daily publication and redesigned the format as a Berliner. ''The Phnom Penh Post'' is also available in Khmer. It previously published a weekend magazine, 7Days, in its Friday edition. Since July 2014, it has published a weekly edition on Saturdays called ''Post Weekend'', which was folded into the paper as a Friday supplement in 2017 and was discontinued in 2018.
