Roprachtice
Roprachtice is a municipality and village in Semily District in the Liberec Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 300 inhabitants. Geography Roprachtice is located about northeast of Semily and southeast of Liberec. It lies in the Giant Mountains Foothills. The highest point is the hill Chlum with an altitude of . The Hrádecký Brook springs here and flows across the municipality. History Roprachtice was probably founded in the 13th century. The first written mention of the village is from 1352. The oldest known owners of the village were the Waldstein family. Important owners of Roprachtice also included the Caretto-Millesimo family and the House of Rohan, who owned it in the 18th and 19th centuries. Liberec
Liberec (; german: Reichenberg ) is a city in the Czech Republic. It has about 103,000 inhabitants and it is the fifth-largest city in the country. It lies on the Lusatian Neisse, in a basin surrounded by mountains. The city centre is well preserved and is protected by law as an urban monument zone. Waldstein Family
The House of Waldstein or House of Valdštejn is a Bohemian noble family that originated from the Kingdom of Bohemia as a branch of the Markwartinger family (House of Markvartic) and gained prominence during the reign of the Přemyslid dynasty. Semily (; german: Semil) is a town in the Liberec Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 8,100 inhabitants. Administrative parts Town parts of Bítouchov and Podmoklice and the village of Spálov are administrative parts of Semily. Geography Semily is located about southeast of Liberec.
