Ropati Pitoitua
Ropati Pitoitua ( ; born April 6, 1985) is a former American football defensive end. He was signed by the New York Jets as an undrafted free agent in 2008. He played college football at Washington State. Pitoitua has also played for the Kansas City Chiefs and Tennessee Titans. Early years Pitoitua was born in American Samoa to Sooalo Ropati and Faipine Pitoitua. He has 1 brother and 4 sisters. He played football and basketball at Clover Park High School in Lakewood, Washington, although he did not pick up football until his junior season. In 2002, he earned two football letters, in addition to being named the Seamount League Defensive Player of the Year. Tuiletufuga Le Mamea Ropati Mualia is a Samoan politician, and member of the Council of Deputies. Over his career he has served as a Cabinet Minister, Leader of the Opposition and represented the constituency for Lefaga & Falese'ela for over thirty years. He was a founding member of the Human Rights Protection Party. Le Mamea was educated at Samoa College and later studied pharmacy at the University of Otago, graduating in 1970 to become Samoa's first pharmacy graduate. He worked as chief pharmacist at Cherry Farm Psychiatric Hospital in Hawksbury, New Zealand. He returned to Samoa in 1971 and became chief pharmacist at Tupua Tamasese Meaole Hospital in Apia. Joseph Ropati is a New Zealand former professional rugby league footballer who represented New Zealand in thirteen test matches, including in games that counted towards the 1988 World Cup. Romi Ropati (born 20 June 1976 in Auckland, New Zealand) is a retired rugby union player best known for his time with the Highlanders Super Rugby franchise. Although born in New Zealand, he represented Samoa internationally and was a member of the Samoan squad at the 2003 Rugby World Cup. He is the Coach of Tahiti's Mens National Rugby Union Team.
