Ronjay Buenafe
Ronald Jayson Buenafe (born May 27, 1983) is a Filipino professional basketball player for the Valenzuela XUR Homes Realty Inc. of the Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League (MPBL). Professional career Being called as the "steal" of the 2007 draft, he performed well during his rookie season as a scoring guard. With the help of the then newly acquired Asi Taulava, they led the Tigers past the wildcard and faced the Alaska Aces in the quarterfinals where they lost 3-0. The following conference, their team had a more successful eliminations compiling a 10-8 record. Once again, they ended their run at the quarterfinals, this time at the hands of the Magnolia Beverage Masters. At the end of the season, Buenafe was named to the All-Rookie Team and was among the contenders for Rookie of the Year. 2012 PBA Governors' Cup Finals
The 2012 Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) Governors' Cup Finals is the best-of-7 championship series of the 2012 PBA Governors' Cup, and the conclusion of the conference's playoffs. The Rain or Shine Elasto Painters and the B-Meg Llamados competed for the 106th championship contested by the league. Ronnie C. Matias (born November 29, 1983) is a Filipino professional basketball player for the Sta. Rosa Laguna Lions of the Pilipinas Super League. Matias was drafted 9th overall in the first round of the 2009 PBA draft by the Burger King Titans. Wynne Arboleda (born November 26, 1976) is a Filipino former basketball player of the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA). He is known by his moniker "The Snatcher" in reference to his steals during games. Career Arboleda first played for the Laguna Lakers in the MBA and later entered the PBA in 2000. Alaska Aces (PBA)
The Alaska Aces were a professional basketball team in the Philippine Basketball Association since 1986 under the ownership of Alaska Milk Corporation (AMC) and the owner of 14 PBA championships, tied with the Barangay Ginebra San Miguel and the Magnolia Hotshots for the second-most titles overall. They are one of the most popular teams in the league and the Philippines. Pauliasi Taulava (born March 2, 1973) is a Tongan-born Filipino professional basketball player for the NLEX Road Warriors of the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA). He is the oldest active player in the league. Standing 6 ft 9 in (2.06 m) tall and weighing 245 pounds (111 kg), Taulava is considered by many to be one of the greatest and most dominant Filipino basketball players to ever play the center position in the PBA.
