Ronan Harris
Ronan Harris (born 14 June 1967) is the founding member of the electronic music project VNV Nation. He is credited with the songwriting, production, lyrical and vocal aspects of the band's music. In the years preceding VNV Nation's debut album, he worked for Q8 Petroleum in central London as an IT manager and was a journalist and webmaster for dark electro magazine ''Side-Line''. VNV Nation In 1988, Harris moved from Dublin, Ireland to London, England. He began recording music as VNV Nation in 1990 and moved to Toronto, Canada later that year. In 1994, Harris moved back to Europe where he met up with Mark Jackson, who joined VNV Nation as the drummer for live shows. Since 1995, Harris has released ten studio albums as VNV Nation. Harris was a co-founder of Dependent Records, but left the label after VNV Nation's '' Futureperfect'' album was released in 2002. Mark Jackson (musician)
Mark Jackson is a drummer, electronic percussionist, and keyboard player, formerly a member of futurepop act VNV Nation. He is also an established professional club DJ and remix artist. In November 2017, it was announced that he was leaving VNV Nation to pursue other projects. In addition to his work with VNV Nation, Mark has been involved in numerous artistic collaborations with other musicians and producers in the electronic music scenes. Notably including vocal work with Rotersand, Reaper, Oliver Huntemann, and The Parallel Project, as well as live work and guest appearances with acts including Combichrist, Straftanz, Apoptygma Berzerk, and Kloq. Mark originates from Essex, England and worked as a software developer, internet programmer, and web designer for CompuServe, MSN, and Microsoft. A disc jockey, more commonly abbreviated as DJ, is a person who plays recorded music for an audience. Analog Sequencer
An analog sequencer is a music sequencer constructed from analog (analogue) electronics, invented in the first half of the 20th century. Raymond Scott designed and constructed some of the first electro-mechanical music sequencers in the 1940s. The first electronic sequencer was invented by Raymond Scott, using thyratrons and relays. ''Decemberunderground'' is the seventh studio album by American rock band AFI, released on June 6, 2006, through Interscope Records. The album was supported by three singles, " Miss Murder", " Love Like Winter", and "The Missing Frame". Recording Over 120 songs were written for the album, the majority of them never finished or released. AFI (abbreviation for A Fire Inside) is an American rock band from Ukiah, California, formed in 1991. The term became popular in the late 1960s when members of already successful rock groups recorded albums together, after which they normally disband. Angels And Agony
Angels and Agony are a Dutch futurepop band consisting of vocalist Reinier Kahle, guitarist Erik Wierenga, DJ Marco van Belle on synthesizer and backing vocals and Fried Bruggink as sound engineer and drummer.
