Ron Talsky
Ron Talsky (November 7, 1934 – September 9, 1995) was an American costume designer who worked on both film and TV. He was known for the television show ''Remington Steele''. He was nominated at the 48th Academy Awards in the category of Best Costumes along with Yvonne Blake for their work on '' The Four Musketeers''. A costume designer is a person who designs costumes for a film, stage production or television show. The role of the costume designer is to create the characters' outfits or costumes and balance the scenes with texture and colour, etc. The costume designer works alongside the Theatre director, director, scenic design, scenic, lighting designer, sound designer, and other creative personnel. ''The Three Musketeers'' (also known as ''The Three Musketeers (The Queen's Diamonds)'') is a 1973 swashbuckler film based on the 1844 novel by Alexandre Dumas. It is directed by Richard Lester from a screenplay by George MacDonald Fraser, and produced by Ilya Salkind. It stars Michael York, Oliver Reed, Frank Finlay, and Richard Chamberlain as the titular musketeers, with Raquel Welch, Geraldine Chaplin, Jean-Pierre Cassel, Charlton Heston, Faye Dunaway, Christopher Lee, Simon Ward, Georges Wilson and Spike Milligan. The film adheres closely to the novel, and also injects a fair amount of humor. "Under Attack" is a song by Swedish pop group ABBA, released in December 1982 as the second and final single from the compilation '' The Singles: The First Ten Years''. Background ABBA recorded "Under Attack" between 2 and 4 August 1982 at Polar Music Studios, Stockholm. The group had originally intended to release a new studio album, but instead decided to release a double-album compilation of their past singles while adding two new songs from the session. The two new tracks that made it onto ''The Singles: The First Ten Years'' were "The Day Before You Came" and "Under Attack". The latter would eventually be added to the expanded editions of The Visitors album. On 11 December 1982, ABBA performed "Under Attack" on the BBC's ''Late Late Breakfast Show'', in what was their last collective performance.
