Ron Peplow
Ronald Rupert Peplow (4 May 1935 – 15 March 2019) was an English professional association football, footballer who played in the Football League for Brentford F.C., Brentford as a wing half. He also played non-League football for Southall F.C., Southall, Folkestone F.C., Folkestone Town and Ashford United F.C., Ashford Town. Peplow was a Penalty (association football), penalty specialist and scored 28 goals from 30 attempts during his career. Club career Brentford Peplow began his career as an inside forward at Athenian League club Southall F.C., Southall and caught the attention of Football League Third Division South, Third Division South neighbours Brentford F.C., Brentford during the 1954–55 in English football, 1954–55 season. Willesden () is an area of northwest London, situated 5 miles (8 km) northwest of Charing Cross. Kent Senior Cup
The Kent Senior Cup is an English football competition played between senior clubs in the county of Kent. It is administered by the Kent County Football Association. History The Kent Badge preceded the Kent Senior Cup, and was won in its three-year history by Chatham. This competition was replaced by the Kent Senior Cup in 1889. Between 1894 and 1897 the cup was awarded to the Kent League champions. Past winners of the Kent Senior Cup include Royal Arsenal (now Arsenal) in 1889–90, and Gillingham in 1945–46 and 1947–48; the two sides are now members of the Premier League and Football League respectively. Football League Third Division
The Football League Third Division was the third tier of the English football league system in 1920–21 and again from 1958 until 1992. When the FA Premier League was formed, the division become the fourth tier level. In 2004, following the formation of the Football League Championship, the division was renamed Football League Two. The Football Association Challenge Cup, more commonly known as the FA Cup, is an annual knockout football competition in men's domestic English football. First played during the 1871–72 season, it is the oldest national football competition in the world. It is organised by and named after The Football Association (The FA). Since 2015, it has been known as The Emirates FA Cup after its headline sponsor. A concurrent women's tournament is also held, the Women's FA Cup.
