Ron Leavitt
Ronald Leavitt (November 7, 1947 – February 10, 2008) was an American television writer and producer. He was the co-creator (with Michael G. Moye) of the American television show '' Married... with Children''. The show's 259 episodes over 11 seasons made it the second-longest lasting sitcom on the Fox network. Life and career Raised in a Jewish family in Brooklyn, Leavitt began his television career in the 1970s writing episodes for the comedies '' Busting Loose'', ''Happy Days'', ''Laverne & Shirley'', and ''The Bad News Bears'' (for which he garnered an NAACP award). In the early 1980s, in addition to writing and producing ''The Jeffersons'' (for which he won a People's Choice Award and a second NAACP award), Leavitt co-wrote the pilot for ''Silver Spoons'' and co-created and executive produced the Jason Bateman sitcom ''It's Your Move''. The People's Choice Awards is an American awards show, recognizing people in entertainment, voted online by the general public and fans. The show has been held annually since 1975, with the winners originally determined using Gallup Polls until a switch to online voting in 2005. The awards were created by Bob Stivers, who produced the first show in 1975. The first awards recognized ''The Sting'' as Favorite Picture of 1974, Barbra Streisand as the year's Favorite Film Actress, and John Wayne as its Favorite Film Actor. Robert Torti
Robert Felix Torti (born October 22, 1961) is an American actor. Torti originated the roles of Jesus and Jack in both the New York City and Los Angeles stage productions of ''Reefer Madness''. Earlier in his career, Torti was honored with a Tony Award nomination for his performance as Greaseball in ''Starlight Express'', which marked his Broadway debut. His work on Broadway also includes the role of Pharaoh in the musical ''Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat''. In addition, he appeared in the London and Los Angeles productions of '' Smokey Joe's Café''. On screen, Torti played singer Freddy Fredrickson in Tom Hanks's ''That Thing You Do!''. ''Vinnie & Bobby'' is an American television sitcom that aired on Fox from May 30 to September 5, 1992. The series is a spin-off of the 1991 sitcom '' Top of the Heap'', which was itself a spin-off of '' Married... with Children''. Series star Matt LeBlanc played the character of Vinnie Verducci on all three shows, as did Joey Lauren Adams as Mona Mullins, although she only appeared in the backdoor pilot of the ''Married... with Children'' episode. Joseph Bologna (December 30, 1934 – August 13, 2017) was an American actor, playwright and screenwriter notable for his roles in the comedy films ''My Favorite Year'', '' Blame It on Rio'' and '' Transylvania 6-5000''. Life and career Bologna was born in the Parkville section of Brooklyn, New York to an Italian-American family. He attended St. Rose of Lima school and Brown University, where he majored in art history. Bologna served with the United States Marine Corps. Bologna was hired to produce and direct Manhattan-based TV commercials. Bologna enjoyed a long run in film and television.
