Sir Ronald Gould (9 October 1904 – 11 April 1986) was General Secretary of the National Union of Teachers in the United Kingdom from 1947–1970. He was the son of the Labour MP Frederick Gould. Early life He was born in Midsomer Norton, Somerset. Ronald James Gould (born April 15, 1950) is an American mathematician specializing in combinatorics and graph theory. He is a Goodrich C. White professor emeritus in the Emory University Department of Mathematics. Education and career After attending SUNY Fredonia for his undergraduate degree, Gould received his Ph.D. in 1979 from Western Michigan University.
