Romulan
The Romulans () are an extraterrestrial race in the American science fiction franchise ''Star Trek''. They first appeared in the series ''Star Trek'' (1966–1969). They have appeared in most subsequent ''Star Trek'' releases, including '' The Animated Series'', ''The Next Generation'', ''Deep Space Nine'', '' Voyager'', ''Enterprise'', ''Discovery'', '' Picard'', '' Strange New Worlds'', and '' Lower Decks''. They appear in the ''Star Trek'' feature films '' Star Trek V: The Final Frontier'' (1989), '' Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country'' (1991), '' Star Trek: Nemesis'' (2002) and ''Star Trek'' (2009). They also appear in various other spin-off media, including books, comics, toys and games. Writer Paul Schneider created the Romulans for the 1966 ''Star Trek'' episode " Balance of Terror". The Enterprise Incident
"The ''Enterprise'' Incident" is the second episode of the third season of the American science fiction television series ''Star Trek''. Written by D. C. Fontana and directed by John Meredyth Lucas, it was first broadcast September 27, 1968. In the episode, the crew of the ''Enterprise'' are on a secret mission to steal a Romulan cloaking device. Plot Captain Kirk orders the Federation starship USS ''Enterprise'' into Romulan space without any authorization from Starfleet of which the bridge crew are aware. Romulan vessels intercept the ''Enterprise'' and Kirk negotiates an hour's time to consider surrendering his ship. Kirk, along with the Vulcan First Officer Spock are then invited aboard the Romulan flagship. Once aboard the Romulan ship, Kirk and Spock are taken before a female commander who demands an explanation for their intrusion into Romulan space. Star Trek (film)
''Star Trek'' is a 2009 American science fiction action film directed by J. J. Abrams and written by Roberto Orci and Alex Kurtzman. It is the 11th film in the ''Star Trek'' franchise, and is also a reboot that features the main characters of the original ''Star Trek'' television series portrayed by a new cast, as the first in the rebooted film series. The film follows James T. Kirk (Chris Pine) and Spock (Zachary Quinto) aboard the USS ''Enterprise'' as they combat Nero (Eric Bana), a Romulan from their future who threatens the United Federation of Planets. The story takes place in an alternate reality that features both an alternate birth location for James T. Kirk and further alterations in history stemming from the time travel of both Nero and the original series Spock (Leonard Nimoy). Vulcan (Star Trek)
Vulcans, sometimes referred to as Vulcanians, are a fictional extraterrestrial humanoid species in the ''Star Trek'' universe and media franchise. In the various ''Star Trek'' television series and films, they are noted for their attempt to live by logic and reason with as little interference from emotion as possible. Known for their pronounced eyebrows and pointed ears, they originate from the fictional planet Vulcan. In the ''Star Trek'' universe, they were the first extraterrestrial species to make contact with humans. The most notable portrayal of a Vulcan is by actor Leonard Nimoy, who first played the character Mr. Spock (picture shown at right) in '' Star Trek: The Original Series'' (1966–1969). The Deadly Years
"The Deadly Years" is the twelfth episode of the second season of the American science fiction television series ''Star Trek''. Written by David P. Harmon and directed by Joseph Pevney, it was first broadcast December 8, 1967. In the episode, strange radiation causes members of the crew of the ''Enterprise'' to age rapidly. Plot The USS ''Enterprise'' is ferrying a senior officer, Commodore Stocker, to Starbase 10 where he is due to assume command. On the way, the ship makes a stop at planet Gamma Hydra IV to resupply the research station there. A landing party consisting of Captain Kirk, First Officer Spock, Chief Medical Officer Dr. McCoy, Chief Engineer Scott, navigator Ensign Chekov, and Lieutenant Arlene Galway beam down to the facility. The Original Series
''Star Trek'' is an American science fiction television series created by Gene Roddenberry that follows the adventures of the starship and its crew. It later acquired the retronym of ''Star Trek: The Original Series'' (''TOS'') to distinguish the show within the media franchise that it began. The show is set in the Milky Way galaxy, circa 2266–2269. The ship and crew are led by Captain James T.
