Rome Adler dela Rosa (born December 11, 1990) is a Filipino professional basketball player for the Magnolia Hotshots of the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA). Early life Dela Rosa grew up in San Diego, California and his favorite sport was originally baseball, where he played as third-baseman and at times catcher. But after years of regularly watching his father play, basketball eventually became his sport of choice. College and amateur career Dela Rosa played collegiate basketball at San Beda College, where he was a vital cog to four straight NCAA titles for the Red Lions. While in the amateur ranks, he also suited up for the PC Gilmore Wizards and the NLEX Road Warriors in the PBA D-League. Professional career Alaska Aces (2014–2016) After he played out his college eligibility in 2013, Dela Rosa was drafted in the second round, 13th overall by the Alaska Aces in the 2014 PBA draft. San Beda Red Lions
The San Beda Red Lions is the collegiate varsity basketball team of the San Beda University that plays in the NCAA. The juniors basketball team is called the Red Cubs of San Beda University–Rizal, while the women's varsity basketball team is called the Red Lionesses. Tony Dela Cruz
Anthony Bryan Davis dela Cruz (born August 24, 1978) is a Filipino-American former professional basketball player and coach. He played majority of his career for the Alaska Aces of the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA), where he also served as an assistant coach after his playing career. Born in West Covina, California, Dela Cruz is a Fil-American who had a stint in the US NCAA and was named as Shell's direct hire recruit in 1999. He became a legitimate PBA All-Star player with the Shell Turbo Chargers and was dealt to the Aces prior to Shell's exit from the PBA before the start of the 2005–2006 season. Negros Slashers
The Negros Slashers also known as the RCPI-Negros Slashers were a professional basketball team in the Metropolitan Basketball Association from 1998 to 2002. The team enjoyed considerable success, winning the MBA National Championship in 2002, the last season of the said league. The team was based in Bacolod, Negros Occidental. The Shell Turbo Chargers were a Philippine Basketball Association team from 1985 to 2005. It won four PBA championships, two from 1998 to 1999. Shell sold its franchise to PBL team Welcoat Dragons, Welcoat Paints in February 2006.
