Romano Amerio (17 January 1905 – 16 January 1997) was a Swiss Italian theologian and a late critic of post-Conciliar evolutions in liturgy and ecclesiology. His ''magnum opus'' is '' Iota Unum''. It is a work dedicated to the study of the ruptures in Church teaching and tradition following the Second Vatican Council. Education and teaching Amerio was born in Lugano. He obtained a doctorate in philosophy from the Catholic University of Milan in 1927. He was a disciple of Fr. Gemelli, the founder of the University. He had studied in detail the philosophy of 17th century Italian poet Tommaso Campanella, of whose work he later became a professional scholar. He is also known for his study of Antonio Rosmini and producing a critical edition of the work of Alessandro Manzoni. Gerardo Romano (born 6 July 1946) is an Argentine actor who has made some 45 appearances in mainstream film and television in Argentina since 1979. He is widely regarded as one of Argentina's leading actors. Romano has mostly appeared on famous television series in Argentina since 1979 making his acting debut in El Fausto criollo, although he has acted in a number of films such as the 1988 Victor Dinenzon film, '' Abierto de 18 a 24'' and the 1994 film ''El Amante de las Peliculas Mudas''. Aldo Romano
Aldo Romano (born 16 January 1941) is an Italian jazz drummer. He also founded a rock group in 1971. Biography He was born in Belluno, Italy. Romano moved to France as a child and by the 1950s he was playing guitar and drums professionally in Paris, but he first gained attention when he started working with Don Cherry in 1963. He recorded with Steve Lacy, and would go on to tour with Dexter Gordon among others. In the 1970s, he moved into rock-influenced forms of jazz fusion and, in 1978, made his first album as a leader. In the 1980s, he returned to his earlier style for several albums. Although he has lived most of his life in France, he has retained an affection for Italy and has set up a quartet of Italian jazz musicians. Rose Romano (born 1951) is an Italian-American poet, novelist, essayist, and editor. She founded and edited the journal ''la bella figura'', which promoted the work of Italian-Americans. After a brief but successful run, she folded the journal when she decided to live in Italy. Before leaving the United States, she edited an anthology of poems that had appeared in the journal. She is the author of several novels and volumes of poetry, and her poems have appeared in numerous journals and anthologies. Life Romano was born in Brooklyn in 1951. She began writing novels at the age of eight and poetry at the age of 14. Graziella "Lalla" Romano (11 November 1906 in Demonte – 26 June 2001 in Milan) was an Italian novelist, poet, artist and journalist. Life and work Romano was born as Graziella Romano in Demonte in 1906 from a noteworthy Piedmontese family. Her great-uncle was mathematician and glottologist Giuseppe Peano. Lou Romano (born April 15, 1972) is an American animator and voice actor. He did design work on ''Monsters, Inc.'' and ''The Incredibles'', and he provided the voices of Bernie Kropp in ''The Incredibles'', Snot Rod in ''Cars'' and Alfredo Linguini in ''Ratatouille''.
