Roman Catholic Archdiocese Of Huế
''Archdiocese (Metropolitan) of Huế'' ( la, Archidioecesis Huéensis) is a Roman Catholic Archdiocese in central Vietnam. The creation of the diocese in its present form was declared on 24 November 1960. It covers an area of 12,227 km² and headed by Archbishop Joseph Nguyễn Chí Linh (from 2016), who was previously the Bishop of Thanh Hóa. The suffragan dioceses are: * Diocese of Ban Mê Thuôt * Diocese of Đà Nẵng * Diocese of Kontum * Diocese of Nha Trang * Diocese of Quy Nhơn. Immaculate Heart of Mary Cathedral in Huế has been assigned as the Cathedral of the Archdiocese. The diocese of Nha Trang ( la, Dioecesis Nhatrangensis, links=no) is a Roman Catholic diocese of Vietnam. The creation of the diocese in present form was declared November 24, 1960. The diocese covers an area of 9,486 km², and is a suffragan diocese of the Archdiocese of Huế. By 2013, the diocese of Nha Trang had about 200,385 Catholics (11.2% of the population), 191 priests and 90 parishes. Jean-Baptiste Urrutia (born 6 November 1901, Les Aduldes, Basses-Pyrénées, France – died 15 January 1979, Montbeton, France) was a French Roman Catholic missionary from the Paris Foreign Missions Society.
