Rollerball (video Game)
is a video game produced by HAL Laboratory in 1984 for the MSX. A Nintendo Entertainment System version of the game was released in 1988. It is designed to be played by one to four players, in turn. It is an emulation of a pinball machine. The pinball machine rendered in ''Rollerball'' is composed of four screens, which, by proportion, would be about as long as two standard pinball tables if it were a real table. The graphics on two of the four screens are based on various aspects of the New York City skyline. The topmost screen (hereafter called the ''bonus screen'') merely shows some clouds and a blimp. The second screen (the ''main screen'') shows the top of the Empire State Building, while the third screen (''intermediate'') shows the lower skyline and the Statue of Liberty. HAL Laboratory
formerly shortened as HALKEN (derived from its native name), is a Japanese video game developer founded on 21 February 1980. While independent, it has been closely tied with Nintendo throughout its history, and is often referred to as a second-party developer for the company. HAL Laboratory is headquartered in Chiyoda, Tokyo, and it also has a building at Kai, Yamanashi. The company got its name because "each letter put them one step ahead of IBM". The company is most famous for their work on the ''Kirby'' and ''Mother'' series, as well as the first two '' Super Smash Bros.'' games. ''High Speed'' is a pinball simulation video game developed by Rare for the Nintendo Entertainment System, and published by Tradewest in 1991. ''High Speed'' employs the game engine that Rare previously developed for ''Pin*Bot'' (1990). ''Pin Bot'' is a pinball video game developed by Rare and published by Nintendo for the Nintendo Entertainment System. It was released in North America in April 1990. It is a conversion of the pinball machine by the same name (developed and manufactured by Williams in 1986). The NES version of the game accurately reproduces some of the game-play and aesthetics of the pinball machine, while introducing new features and added challenges. Rock 'n Ball
''Rock'n' Ball'', released in Japan as , is a Family Computer video game that was originally released in 1989. The video game was released in both Japan and North America. In the North American version, fictional human characters are used instead of the licensed Namco characters; four male characters and two female characters are at the player's disposal. Compared to the North American version, the bumpers in the Japanese version are separately further and the players have more room to guide their ball around the playing surface. The Japanese version has a higher overall difficulty compared to the North American version despite the latter having bigger arches. Summary There are several gameplay options in the game.
