Rolandz
Rolandz is a dansband from Sweden, established in 2008 by Robert Gustafsson. The breakthrough was during a ''Dansbandskampen'' break appearance in 2008. In 2009, the band participated at ''Allsång på Skansen'' on 7 July 2009. Singer and lead man of Rolandz is the character Roland Järverup, whom Robert Gustafsson played in the 1999 movie ''Screwed in Tallinn'' by Killinggänget Killinggänget is a Swedish comedy group, started in 1991. It is named after Glenn Killing, a character played by Henrik Schyffert who has appeared in many of their shows. The group is notable for their evolution from straight comedy to comedy/dr .... Later, the idea was hatched to create Rolandz using the Roland Järverup character. Rolandz competed in Melodifestivalen 2018 with the song Fuldans, and finished in 10th place in the grand final. Melodifestivalen 2018
Melodifestivalen 2018 was the 58th edition of the Swedish music competition Melodifestivalen, which selected Sweden's entry for the Eurovision Song Contest 2018. The competition was organised by Sveriges Television (SVT) and took place over a six-week period between 3 February and 10 March 2018. The format of the competition consists of 6 shows: 4 heat rounds, a second chance round and a final. An initial 28 entries were selected for the competition through three methods: an open call for song submissions, direct invitations to specific artists and songwriters and a wildcard given to one of the artists that participated in the ''Svensktoppen nästa'' competition organised by Sveriges Radio P4. The 28 competing entries were divided into four heats, with seven compositions in each. Allsång På Skansen
''Allsång på Skansen'' (''Sing-along at Skansen'') is a Swedish show held at Skansen, Stockholm, every summer on Tuesdays between 8pm and 9pm. The audience is encouraged to sing along with musical guest stars to well-known Swedish and international songs. The show started in 1935 on a small scale; about 50 people in the audience. Today, about 10,000–25,500 people come to each performance. Since 3 August 1979 the show has been broadcast by Sveriges Television. Initially the show had about 300,000 viewers. When Lasse Berghagen took over as host, the ratings increased to about 2 million viewers. In 2003, ''Allsång på Skansen'' was the first SVT programme that was broadcast with 5.1 multichannel sound. In 2007, it became one of the first Swedish live programmes broadcast in high-definition television. Dansbandskampen
Dansbandskampen is a television show established by Peter Settman and his production company Baluba. Peter Settman is also the show host. The show is broadcast over Sveriges Television, with season 1 airing October–December 2008. In 2008, five bands participated each week. Each week consisted of one moment where the bands were free to perform a pop or rock song, followed up by the second moment, ''Dansbandsklassikern'' ("The dansband classic"), where a famous dansband song was performed, chosen by drawing. The finalist bands are given an own, new own-produced song, followed up by the two remaining bands performing their own version of a song.
