Rohne, Schleife
Schleife (; hsb, Slepo, ) is a municipality of 3,000 in northern Görlitz district, northeast Saxony, Germany. It is the seat of the ''Verwaltungsgemeinschaft Schleife'' (about 5,000 inhabitants). The municipality is part of the recognized Sorbian settlement area in Saxony. Upper Sorbian has an official status next to German, all villages bear names in both languages. Administration During the 1990s there were municipal reforms in Saxony to make the administration more effective and less expensive. In that time Schleife was joined by the two villages of Mulkwitz and Rohne, and the ''Verwaltungsgemeinschaft Schleife'', based on the parish of Schleife, was established. The parish of Schleife consists of eight villages, except for Lieskau the ''Verwaltungsgemeinschaft Schleife'' is formed by them: Lieskau is a special case, it is located in the state of Brandenburg. Marius Røhne
Marius Røhne (25 April 1883 – 30 August 1966) was a Norwegian landscape architect. Personal life Røhne was born in Løten to farmer Mons Røhne and Inger Marie Jakobsdatter Helseth. He was married twice, first to Ingeborg Marie Gundestrup, and second to Astri Alfrida Mathilde Viddal. Career Røhne graduated as cand.hort. from the Norges Landbrukshøgskole (NLH) in 1911. He practiced as garden architect in Kristiania from 1913, and was partly responsible for planning the park areas for the 1914 Jubilee Exhibition at Frogner. From 1916 to 1948 he was appointed city gardener and leader of the Park Authority in Oslo. Røhne co-founded ''Norsk Gartnerforening'' in 1910, and was a co-founder of the trade union ''Norsk Hagearkitektlag'' in 1929 (later ).
