Rohit Mirza
Rohit Mirza (born 15 August 1991) is an Indian professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Gokulam Kerala FC in the I-League. Education Rohit Mirza has a degree(B.E) in Electronics Engineering. He completed his Engineering from Fr.Conceicao Rodrigues College of Engineering, Bandra in 2013. Career Mirza joined Mumbai F.C. as a youth player who played for the under-20 squad in the I-League U20. Mirza then made his debut for the senior Mumbai side on 11 May 2013 in the club's final match of the season against Sporting Goa at the Tilak Maidan Stadium in Goa. He started and played 57 minutes, winning a penalty for his team before being subbed off for Jayesh Rane as Mumbai drew the match 2–2. Gokulam Kerala FC
Gokulam Kerala Football Club is an Indian professional football club based in Calicut, Kerala. Founded in 2017, the club competes in the I-League, the second tier of Indian football league system. They won the 2020–21 I-League to become the first ever club from Kerala to win an I-League title, and became the first team to defend the I-League title in 2021–22 season. Gokulam is also the first club from Kerala to qualify for a continental competition, the AFC Cup. AFC Cup
The AFC Cup is an annual continental club football competition organised by the Asian Football Confederation (AFC). Under its current rules, the competition is played primarily between clubs from nations that did not receive direct qualifying slots in the top-tier AFC Champions League, based on the AFC Club Competitions Ranking. Al-Kuwait SC and Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya are the most successful clubs in the competition's history, having won three titles each. 2019–20 I-League
The 2019–20 I-League (Officially known as Hero I-League, due to sponsorship reasons) was the 13th season of the I-League, one of the top Indian professional football leagues, since its establishment in 2007. A total of 11 teams competed in the league. Chennai City were the defending champions, having won the previous season. TRAU F.C. joined as a promoted club from the I-League 2nd Division. Shillong Lajong F.C. were relegated from the I-League last season and will play in the second division in the 2019–20 season. 2017-18 champion ''Minerva Punjab'' played as Punjab F.C. from this season as the club was renamed on 30 October 2019. The 2018–19 I-League was the 12th season of the I-League, the top Indian professional football league, since its establishment in 2007. The season started on 26 October 2018 and is scheduled to conclude in March 2019. Unlike the Indian Super League, the I-League did not take a mid-season break during the 2019 AFC Asian Cup. Minerva Punjab was the defending champions having won the previous season. Real Kashmir joined as a promoted club from the I-League 2nd Division. Churchill Brothers, having been relegated the previous season, were given an exemption by the All India Football Federation for this season. The 2017–18 I-League was the 11th season of the I-League. Aizawl were the defending champions. NEROCA entered as the promoted team from the 2016–17 I-League 2nd Division. The season began on 25 November 2017. Teams All India Football Federation invited bids for new teams on 21 July 2017 from Bengaluru, Mumbai, New Delhi, Ranchi, Jaipur, Jodhpur, Bhopal, Lucknow, Ahmedabad, Malappuram and Trivandrum, among others. Indian Super League
The Indian Super League (ISL) is an Indian professional league for men's association football clubs. At the top of the Indian football league system, it is the country's primary football competition. Organised by the All India Football Federation (AIFF), and their commercial partners Football Sports Development Limited (FSDL), it is officially known as Hero Indian Super League for sponsorship ties with Hero MotoCorp. The league currently comprises 11 clubs. Each season of the tournament generally runs from October to March.
