It was the first sub-city project of Delhi Development Authority (DDA), which was started in the 1980s to provide a composite society for all income groups. Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) is the municipal corporation that governs most of Delhi, India. The MCD is among the largest municipal bodies in the world providing civic services to an estimated population of more than 11 million citizens in the capital city. Khera Kalan is a census-designated town in the north district of the Indian territory of Delhi. Population In 2011, a report published by Census India stated that Khera Kalan had 1,539 households and a total population of 11,252. This included 6,397 males and 5,855 females.
