Rohan Jayasekera (cricketer)
Rohan Stanley Amarasiriwardene Jayasekera (born 7 December 1957), or Rohan Jayasekera, is a former Sri Lankan cricketer who represented Sri Lanka in one Test match and two One Day Internationals, and Canada in four ICC Trophy matches. Domestic career He made his first class debut in 1978–1979 when he batted at three and kept wicket for a Sri Lanka Board XI who lost by 113 runs to the West Indies. He was picked for the Sri Lankan tour of England in the summer of 1979. This tour did not include any Test or ODI matches, as Sri Lanka did not have such status at the time. However, it did include the 1979 ICC Trophy, where Jayasekera played one match against Netherlands. Jayasekera only scored five runs in the 45-run victory. He did make two half-centuries on tour, however, scoring 79 not out in a drawn match against a Worcestershire side including internationals Vanburn Holder and Younis Ahmed, and a second-innings 55 against Glamorgan. Wicket-keeper
The wicket-keeper in the sport of cricket is the player on the fielding side who stands behind the wicket or stumps being watchful of the batsman and ready to take a catch, stump the batsman out and run out a batsman when occasion arises. The wicket-keeper is the only member of the fielding side permitted to wear gloves and external leg guards. The role of the keeper is governed by Law 27 of the Laws of Cricket. Dutch Cricket Team
The Netherlands national cricket team (Dutch: Nederlandse cricket team) is the men's team that represents the Kingdom of the Netherlands and is administered by the Royal Dutch Cricket Association. 1986 ICC Trophy
The 1986 ICC Trophy was a limited-overs cricket tournament held in England between 11 June and 7 July 1986. It was the third ICC Trophy tournament to be staged, and as with the previous two tournaments, games between the 16 participating teams played over 60 overs a side and with white clothing and red balls. All matches except the final were played in the Midlands, but the final was held at Lord's, London. The tournament served as the Cricket World Cup qualification process – Zimbabwe defeated the Netherlands to win their second ICC Trophy in a row and qualify for the 1987 World Cup. Cricket was introduced to Sri Lanka (then called Ceylon) in the first quarter of the 19th century, following colonisation of the island by the British. Glamorgan County Cricket Club
Glamorgan County Cricket Club ( cy, Criced Morgannwg) is one of eighteen first-class county clubs within the domestic cricket structure of England and Wales. It represents the historic county of Glamorgan ( cy, Morgannwg). Founded in 1888, Glamorgan held minor status at first and was a prominent member of the early Minor Counties Championship before the First World War.
